California Nears 3M COVID Cases

California is close to reaching a total of 3 million coronavirus cases since the beginning of the pandemic.

The state recorded 432 deaths Sunday, a day after recording the second highest daily count of 669. Hospitalizations and intensive care unit admissions are declining, but health officials warn that could still quickly change due to the post-holiday surge. The total number of COVID-19 deaths in the state is listed at 33,392.
