The organizer of the "Let Freedom Ring" rally in Sacramento is responding to the denied permit.
The CHP denied it due to COVID-19 restrictions and for possible civil unrest. Republican congressional candidate Chris Bish organized the rally to protest the election results. She says protective measures at the state Capitol are an overreaction, and also told supporters not to show up. Bish says she will re-apply for the permit after Inauguration Day.
