California Attorney General Xavier Becerra sued the Trump administration nine times during Trump's final day in office.
The latest actions were part of an attempt to block a series of environmental changes in recent weeks. Those changes, Becerra says, would weaken protections for migratory birds, exempt some clothes washers and dryers from energy efficient standards and loosen regulation of greenhouse gas emissions from the oil and gas industry. Becerra has taken the Trump administration to court 122 times in the last four years.
