A Sacramento County code inspector is dead after being stabbed while on the job.
The acting Sacramento County executive confirms code inspector Dennis Catanyag died after a stabbing attack last week. Police say the incident happened last Thursday in the parking lot of a shopping center off Fulton Avenue. Deputies arrested Mohammad Anwaribrah Musallam, who is accused of attacking two people with a knife. Witnesses say Musallam works at a restaurant that had just received a passing inspection from Catanyag.
