Newsom Denies Stay-At-Home Order Was Lifted To Weaken Recall Effort

Governor Gavin Newsom says his decision to lift the statewide stay-at-home was not meant to weaken the recall effort against him.

The California Secretary of State's office has given the recall campaign called "Rescue California" until March 17 to qualify for a ballot. It needs 1.5 million valid signatures to qualify.
