The Sacramento County Republican Party is demanding the resignation of one of its recently elected members who is affiliated with the Proud Boys.
The party unanimously called to remove Jeffrey Perrine who was elected to the group's central committee. GOP Chair Betsy Graves Mahan says Perrine's desire to maintain his membership with the Proud Boys is inconsistent with the values of the Republican Party. Mahan adds Perrine is planning to make his case to stay in office at a meeting next month.
