Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg isn't happy about the city's warming centers being closed as temperatures drop and strong winds and rain enter the region.
Steinberg spoke out during last night's city council meeting, telling members "people are going to die tonight." He questioned why the warming center couldn't be opened for more than one night. A shelter opened at the Sacramento Main Library Monday night as temperatures dipped below freezing.
