High school athletes could have a chance to play sports this school year.
The California Interscholastic Federation Sac-Joaquin Section released its calendar plan yesterday, allowing the 26 leagues in the section to create their own sports schedules. In order to return to play, counties must fall under the orange or yellow tiers. However, there will be no playoffs of any kind. All sports from all seasons can be played from February 1st to June 12th, with the exception of football, which must end by April 17th.
