First California Amusement Park Sets Reopening Date

The first California amusement park has set its reopening date for later this year. Great America in Santa Clara County will reopen its gate on May 22nd. It's the first park to officially schedule a reopening date. The park will reopen with limited capacity and guests are required to wear face masks and must get their temperature taken in order to enter the park. Some rides where social distancing is not possible will remain closed. Disneyland Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood and Knott's Berry Farm among others, remain closed.
