Moderate to heavy snowfall is expected to affect Sierra travel with snow levels above 5,000-6,000 ft today, falling to 4,000-4,500 ft Tuesday. Chance of isolated Valley thunderstorms is possible Tuesday afternoon, with potential rain rates expected to remain below flash flood criteria for recent scar burns. Dry conditions are reported to return late Wednesday into next weekend.
