Sacramento County will be holding a budget workshop tomorrow afternoon to discuss the county's spending priorities.
The meeting will give the community an opportunity to weigh-in on the budget in advance. County leaders are hopeful the workshop will offer some insight into what residents would like to see funded. The move comes after the county's spending decisions have been publicly criticized in the last year, especially with the rise of a movement to spend less on law enforcement. The virtual meeting starts at 3 p.m. tomorrow.
