UC Davis is putting in work to get COVID-19 under control and protect the city's residents from the virus.
The university is hoping to keep people safe through its program called Healthy Davis Together. The program provides free COVID-19 testing, face masks and contact tracing for the community. They're also letting people isolate at one of the dorms on campus if they can't do so safely at home. UC Davis is taking on the cost of all the resources and has spent $14.5 million so far on the program.
