Sac Considers Installing BLM Sign In Oak Park

The city of Sacramento is considering putting up a Black Lives Matter sign in one of the city's historically Black neighborhoods.

The wooden structure, measuring 17-feet across and standing roughly six-feet tall, may soon be installed at McClatchy Park. The sign is covered in the names of unarmed Black people killed by law enforcement and is intended to honor their lives and visually represent the city's stance on social and racial justice.
