President Joe Biden's administration is still finding ways to reach out to Americans despite travel restrictions due to the ongoing pandemic. Over the weekend, the White House released a two-and-half-minute video of Biden's telephone conversation with Roseville woman Michele Voelkert. After losing her job at a startup company in July, Voelkert wrote to Biden telling him it's been tough trying to find work. He read it, then called her and talked about his one-point-nine-trillion-dollar coronavirus relief plan, which calls for 14-hundred dollar payments to people like Voelkert. The White House says the conversation is part of an effort to help Biden engage and communicate directly with Americans amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
