One California county is once again banning indoor worship services.
Santa Clara County yesterday reinstated the ban on indoor worship services due to COVID-19 concerns, a day after the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California temporarily suspended an earlier order. The court issued a temporary injunction against the ban Monday in a challenge filed by five local churches. Last Friday, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that California can't continue with the ban on indoor church services, but can limit attendance to 25% of a building's capacity.
