The Biden administration wants COVID-19 vaccines more readily available to the general public.
The President explained the U.S. has purchased an additional 200 million vaccine doses. This comes as he says the companies developing the shots are speeding up delivery timelines, so the 100 million doses that were initially promised by June will now be delivered by the end of May. Biden says this means the U.S. will have enough of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines to get every American inoculated by the end of July.
