Sonali Nijhawan is being named the Director of AmeriCorps State and National by the newly appointed Biden-Harris administration.
Nijhawan has significant experience in education, most recently serving as Executive Director of Stockton Service Corps. Formerly, Nijhawan founded City Year Sacramento with 50 new AmeriCorps members, aiming to create equitable access to educational opportunities.
