New Connector Being Planned In Bay Area

A new state project is looking to relieve congestion on Interstate 101 and State Route 92.

The California Department of Transportation is planning on spending between $173-$193 million on the plan to improve the connection between I-101 and SR-92. They note the heavy traffic volume in the existing junction causes significant traffic delays and crashes are common. The connector serves as a key route for commuters between main business areas and commercial and industrial areas across the Bay Area.
