Sacramento Woman Making Masks For Cancer Patients

Patients at the Mercy Cancer Center are receiving free masks, handmade by one woman.

Sabrina Aragon has been stitching together facemasks for cancer patients, hoping to give support and encouragement to people going through an already terrifying time, all while during a pandemic. While wearing a mask, gloves and with constant hand-washing, Aragon has made-and-donated 30 face coverings so far, equipped with sturdy nose-bridges, three layers of fabric, and adjustable ear straps. She plans to make 100 more for cancer patients in Sacramento.
