Vaccine Rollout Delayed In CA Due To Late Shipments

Governor Gavin Newsom says there have been winter weather-related delays in receiving about 700,000 COVID vaccine doses headed to California.

But during a visit to a vaccination site in Long Beach, Newsom said California is ahead of other states. Newsom says that despite the delays in vaccine arrivals, the state will move forward starting March 1st with setting aside 10% of all vaccine doses for teachers, school staff and child care providers.
