Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is donating $1 million to 80 small business in his hometown city of Chico. Rodger's posted videos on Instagram with business owners talking about the struggle to keep their doors open amid the pandemic. The Aaron Rodgers Small Business COVID-19 Fund was set up to help support local shops in Chico, in partnership with the North Valley Community Foundation. Rodgers was also heavily involved in the recovery efforts following the deadly 2018 Camp Fire in Paradise. Rodgers said he was motivated to help because he wanted to preserve the unique charm that makes Chico special.
