The Sacramento Kings are calling up rookie Robert Woodard II from the NBA G-League.
Unfortunately, the decision was made after Woodard suffered a left hamstring strain while playing for the Austin Spurs against the Santa Cruz Warriors over the weekend. During his time in the G-League, Woodard averaged 17 points, eleven rebounds, two assists and one-and-a-half steals on 31 minutes per game. The Kings drafted Woodard with the 40th pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. His injury will be re-evaluated in three-to-four weeks.
