One person is under arrest in Elk Grove after two cars were involved in a shooting yesterday afternoon.
The cars were driving near Calvine and Elk Grove Florin Road, when one person is suspected of firing gunshots, shattering windows and hitting a parked sedan along the road. Eventually one of the two cars involved crashed into another parked vehicle - no injuries are reported. Officers say it seems to be an isolated incident, all people involved appear to know each other, and road rage was not a motive.
