A man is dead after a shooting in North Highlands.
Sacramento County Sheriff's officers responded to calls of a shooting shortly before 6 o'clock last night. They found a car parked near Madison and Harrison streets, shot five to six times by the suspect who authorities believe drove away. The victim was found inside the car, pronounced dead on scene and a firearm was found on his lap.
