With COVID-19 vaccine eligibility expanding next Thursday to include all Californians aged 16 and older, Sacramento County is expected to receive fewer doses than weeks prior.
This week, the state supplied Sac County with more than 25,000 total doses of the three available vaccine options. Next week, the county is set to receive just 20,000 doses, including 10,400 fewer doses of the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Current data show more than 750,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the county.
