States Resume J&J Vaccines After CDC Pause

The Johnson and Johnson COVID vaccine is being given out once again.

Los Angeles County starts today, following the lead of New York, Massachusetts, Illinois, Nevada and Virginia. The CDC and FDA lifted a pause on Friday after investigating cases of blood cloths, but not everyone is ready to trust it yet. An ABC News/Washington Post poll just out shows only 46% of people surveyed believe the vaccine is very or somewhat safe. Despite the pause in administration, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Dr. Anthony Fauci said he does not believe pausing Johnson & Johnson doses will negatively impact the public's willingness to get vaccinated.
