It's official - vaccinated Californians no longer have to wear a mask outside.
California’s Department of Public Health updated the mandate yesterday, saying face coverings are no longer required outdoors for fully vaccinated people except in crowded settings such as performances, festivals and sports events. In addition to the updated outdoor guidance, California will now allow fully vaccinated people to visit with other fully vaccinated people in indoor or outdoor settings without wearing masks or maintaining distancing.
People are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their last shot. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, California will also allow fully vaccinated people to visit with other fully vaccinated people in indoor or outdoor settings without wearing masks or maintaining distancing.
