A light-rail train in downtown Sacramento is getting back on track after being derailed yesterday afternoon.
A white van allegedly ran past a stopping signal, ramming the side of the train about a block south of the Capitol building at 10th and O streets. Only one passenger was in the train at the time, along with the operator, though no injuries have been reported.
According to KCRA, the Sacramento Police Department said the driver in the truck is expected to be OK. Nobody inside the light rail train was injured.
