The Yuba County Sheriff's Department is evacuating residents in certain parts of South East Wheatland near Beale Air Force base due to a fast moving grass fire. So far, over 300 acres have burned and destroyed at least 2 structures. Evacuations are in place for the areas around Intanko Lane and Kapaka Lane. To check the status of the evacuations click here. Parts of the air force base are now being evacuated. Right now, the fire seems to be heading North with zero-percent containment.
