California recently launched a new tool that allows fully vaccinated people to create a digital copy of their vaccination card.
But, for some people, the smartphone app is not working as well as planned. In some cases, the app says the state has no record of their vaccination, while other people have gotten a QR code with the wrong information. The state vaccine task force explains the most likely cause is the user's phone number or address was entered incorrectly or illegibly when they got their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
