University of California, Davis says they are suspending the entire Varsity baseball team, and placing the coaches on administrative leave, pending an investigation into allegations of misconduct. The University is not giving any details as to what the allegations are, how long there has been a problem, or as to who is involved. In a statement released by the school, the UC Davis Office of Compliance and Policy will be investigating these allegations. They say it could take months, starting in the fall, to get to the bottom of the investigation and the school has not set a date to allow for the team to resume activities. Students looking for confidential resources are advised to contact the Student Health and Counseling Services and the Ombuds Office.
