Three Dozen Fires Burning Along West Coast

Three dozen fires are burning on the West Coast this morning.

CAL FIRE says the Dixie Fire is mostly burning in Plumas County, and burning away from any populated areas in neighboring Butte County. The blaze has burned through about 1,200 acres and as of this morning the fire is zero-percent contained. Meanwhile headway is being made on the massive Beckwourth Complex Fire...The US Forest Service says the blaze is now 73% contained. The blaze has consumed more than 95,000 acres in the Plumas National Forest.

Cal Fire warned Wednesday of critical fire weather in Northern California, issuing a red flag warning amid gusty winds and low humidity.
