Popular Sacramento Music Festival To Require Covid-19 Vaccine For Guests

One of the most popular rock music festivals in the state is now requiring all guests to show proof of vaccination or have a negative Covid-19 test within 72-hours of the event. Aftershock will take place in Sacramento's Discovery Park the weekend of October 7, 8, 9 and 10. This outdoor event organizers say the health of guests, artists and staff is the number one priority and in order to maintain the health of everyone, the vaccine is going to be enforced for those wanting to attend. For those not yet vaccinated, the last day to receive the second shot of Moderna or Pfizer, or the single dose of Johnson & Johnson is Thursday, September 23rd for 4-day pass holders or Friday, September 24 for 3-day pass holders. They have also set up more health protocols like cashless payment options, extra cleaning crews, and added sanitation stations. The 4-day event is sold out and The Original Misfits and Metallica are two of the scheduled headliners.
