A parolee is under arrest just months after being released, accused of killing a woman from Land Park.
Fifty-one year old Troy Davis allegedly attacked a 61-year old woman inside her home in the 2200 block of 11th Avenue Friday, where authorities responded to reports of a fire. Davis, a transient with a criminal history including felony charges, was booked Saturday into the Sacramento County Main Jail on charges of parole violation, murder, arson, burglary and sexual assault. He's being held without bail, and scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
This comes less than three months after Davis was released from custody in an auto theft case.
