A procession took place today for the fallen marine from Roseville who was killed in the suicide bombing at the Kabul airport last month. Sgt. Nicole Gee arrived at the Sacramento International Airport and taken to Mount Vernon Memorial Park in Fair Oaks. Thousands along the route stopping in their tracks to honor Sgt. Nicole Gee as the procession carrying her body passed. Srgt. Gee arrived at the Sacramento International Airport today just after 1 o'clock today and she will remain at the Mount Vernon Memorial Park until her memorial service this weekend. The family will be holding a public memorial service for Sgt. Gee at 11 a.m. Saturday September 18th at Bayside Church Adventure Campus in Roseville, with a second procession to follow. It is unclear at this time where the final stop will be, but the procession will start in Roseville on Saturday afternoon.
