San Francisco Giants Catcher Buster Posey is retiring. Multiple reports say the 34-year-old veteran and three-time World Series champion will make it official on Thursday. Posey has had a decorated career with the Giants, winning the National League Rookie of the Year in 2010. He was the NL Comeback Player of the Year and league MVP in 2012. He was a Gold Glove and Silver Slugger winner, and finished with a career batting average of .302 over 12 seasons. He was a seven-time All-Star and a fan favorite for the Giants. Reaction came pouring into social media following the news Wednesday afternoon.
