A fan favorite music venue in the Sacramento are is shutting it's doors after a long 35-year run hosting concerts of varying genres. Orangevale's the Boardwalk announced the final decision on it's social media pages citing lower attendance and financial burdens exasperated by the pandemic. The building is to be sold and so will the over 300 signed guitars in the venues collection. The closure of the venue is "effective immediately" and information about serious buyers for the guitars is available in their Facebook post. The venue hosted hundreds of mainstream and local bands over the years.
