A procession was held this morning for fallen Elk Grove Police officer Ty Lenehan. Streets from Elk Grove to Rescue were closed and limited to traffic as the procession made it's way to the Green Valley Mortuary. Those public viewings will start on Tuesday and will continue until a funeral is held, which has not been scheduled as of Tuesday afternoon. The public can visit the memorial from 8 a.m until 8 p.m. Another opportunity for public viewings have been set up at the Green Valley Mortuary in Rescue starting on Thursday Jan. 27th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday Jan. 28th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. for Officer Lenehan's final resting place.
