The Sacramento Police Department says they believe several shooters were involved in Sunday's mass shooting that left 6 people dead and a dozen others injured.

Police say the shootings broke out early Sunday morning following a large fight near the Golden 1 Center in downtown Sacramento. Police say they have not yet arrested any suspects but have recovered a gun that was stolen. Investigators are reviewing surveillance video of the area to learn what happened and to try to identify suspects. Family members of a fatal mass shooting in downtown Sacramento have identified two of their loved ones. Officials from the Sacramento County Coroner's Office confirmed 29-year-old DeVazia Turner and 38-year-old Sergio Harris are two of the 6 victims from the shooting. Three men and three women died on scene early Sunday in downtown Sacramento near 10th and K Streets and 12 were injured. Sacramento Police Chief Kathy Lester told journalists and reporters Sunday that investigators have received multiple tips and videos from the public, saying, "We are deeply grateful for that."

UC Davis Medical center spokesperson says two of five victims that checked into their facilities Sunday have since been released. "What happened last night is the biggest and most recent example of what we all know," the police chief said. "Gun violence is truly a crisis in our community, and it has increased not only here in Sacramento, but across the nation."
