Northern California is getting more crowded.

The Capitol metro area has been experiencing a surge in population, and the region is melding together more than anywhere else in California. The reason for this is the ability to work from home which brought the freedom to change where home is and people are coming from Bay Area residents. The California UC System has also been experiencing overcrowding issues, with plans to add 20,000 students by 2030 has led to conflicts with some of the communities where campuses are located.
