LISTEN: Gov. Newsom and CA Lawmakers Announce Efforts To Curb Gun Violence

Governor Gavin Newsom and state legislative leaders are holding a press conference Wednesday afternoon to announce efforts to curb gun violence in the wake of Tuesday's mass shooting in Uvadle, Texas. Senate President pro Tempore Toni G. Atkins (D-San Diego), Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon (D-Lakewood) and Governor Gavin Newsom will announce efforts to expedite legislation to protect communities from gun violence. The livestream from the Office of the Governor will start around 1:00pm.
