1 GUILTY, 1 NOT GUILTY: Verdicts For The Kristin Smart Murder Trial Reached

Both verdicts for the father and son facing charges in the murder of Stockton Native Kristin Smart have been reached. Paul Flores was found guilty of first degree murder for the 1996 crime against Smart. His sentencing is set for 9:00 am on December 9th. His father Ruben has been found not guilty of helping his son hide Smart's body and concealing the murder. Shortly after the verdicts have been read, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff Ian Parkinson along with District Attorney Dan Dow will be holding a press conference outside the courthouse. Kristin Smart's family will also be present at the conference, no confirmation if they will give a statement.
