These California Airports Are Now Swabbing For Covid Varients

Another California airport is on board with a plan to stop the spread of COVID. The CDC's Traveler Genomic Surveillance program just began Tuesday at Los Angeles International Airport. A team seeks out volunteers flying in from China, asking if they'll swab their noses in the search for new variants. The program is already underway in San Francisco and a few other cities. This comes as the CDC begins a new policy tomorrow, requiring travelers from China show a negative test before flying to the U.S.
