The 52-billion dollar California gasoline tax may be something you get to vote on. Assemblyman Travis Allen, a Republican from Huntington Beach, has filed an initiative to put it on the ballot for a vote of the people in 2018. For that to happen, the initiative's backers will have to gather more than 365-thousand valid signatures in the next 150 days.
