A Solar Eclipse Watch Party on the west end of the State Capitol will celebrate the rare eclipse Monday. This event will also highlight the impact of solar energy in California. Assemblymember Chris Holden, the California Council on Science and Technology, and the California Public Utilities Commission will host. Certified eclipse viewing glasses will be distributed to the public.
Kitty talked with Laura McWilliams with the Utilities & Energy Committee about the free event.
