On Sunday, September 17th, you can take a self-guided tour that showcases Sacramento’s oldest existing residential neighborhood, Alkali Flat.
Nestled between Downtown and Midtown, Alkali Flat includes Greek Revival, Craftsman, Victorian, Italianate, Eastlake, Colonial and Queen Anne style architecture. Homes were built between 1853 and the early 1900s.
The tour is sponsored by Preservation Sacramento, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting Sacramento’s historic places.
