A Sacramento-area teenager's good deed is going viral. Surveillance video from the Elk Grove home of Melissa Vang shows Tyler Opdyke approach the front door with a wallet in his hand. He holds the wallet up in front of the camera, and then flips it to the other side to reveal a wad of cash. In fact, the missing wallet contained 15-hundred-dollars in cash. The teen then leaves the wallet on the front door mat and walks away. Opdyke reportedly said, "there's a lot of bad in the world, especially today, so this is cool getting attention for this."
On her Facebook page Vang wrote, God bless this young man's heart. My husband dropped his wallet (with hundreds of dollars and all his credit cards) in our driveway and this gentleman picked it up and left it at our doorstep after waiting for a few minutes, because I wouldn't open the door (for strangers). I later found him. Thanked and rewarded him for his kind gesture."
