American Red Cross Builds Sifting Boxes For Fire Victims

The American Red Cross requested local communities to help build 5,000 sifting boxes. The sifting boxes are used by fire victims to sift through the ashes of their homes to identify small items. 

WHERE: California Emergency Foodlink Warehouse 5799 Foodlink Street Sacramento 

WHEN: Three shifts per day from 9-1, 1-4 and 4-8 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week. 

Closed toe shoes are required. All tools, gloves and materials are provided. Snacks and water are also provided by the American Red Cross.
