Pet Of The Week: Janis Hoplin

Meet Janis Hoplin!

Name:   Janis Hoplin

Breed:   Rex

Color:   Black

Age:   3 months

Sex:   Female

Janis loves to be held and cuddled, and doesn't mind one bit being picked up. These are unusual traits in a rabbit. Rabbits are prey and are usually on guard. We need to train rabbits to know that we humans are safe. Janis is so relaxed and would make a great first bunny for someone. She is also incredibly soft, like a plush toy.

We are training her here at the shelter to go in her litter box trained and ready to move in! This is a rabbit that would be completely comfortable around kids.

Our rabbits are fixed and microchipped which is all included in the adoption fee. Rabbits need to be taken out daily for exercise and interaction. They are very social and do not do well when left in a room alone. If you are looking for a unique and loving pet, Janis would be a perfect fit!

Adoption fee: $45

Secondary Topic:  What do bunnies love and is dangerous? Wires! Bunny proving your house is a must.
