Sacramento Comedy Show to Benefit Youth from Foster Care

Justin Studebaker tells us about a Sacramento Comedy Show to Benefit Youth from Foster Care.

Three local nonprofits joining together to laugh for youth!

Three nonprofit organizations will receive proceeds from David Studebaker Live: Comedy Show Benefiting Youth from Foster Care on Tuesday, May 1 at 7 p.m. at the Punch Line Sacramento.

Dress 2 Success, a new nonprofit program in Sacramento is leading the charge of this event. D2S innovatively educates, inspires and dresses teens preparing for the professional world. As private individuals, D2S began four years ago by providing youth from Koinonia Homes for Teens with styling workshops, character-building lessons and professional attire shopping sprees.

In its infancy as a nonprofit program, D2S is expanding its vision and adding a new partner with Aging UP, a local mentoring organization to empower youth from foster care to successfully transition into adulthood.
